Admission requirements for the Master of Science degree program include completion of a bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited institution. To be admitted as a regular student, applicants must have attained at least a 3.0 grade point average for the last 60 semester credits of undergraduate study. Provisional status may be permitted with a lower average.

There is a special reduced tuition rate for full-time personnel in Virginia K-12 schools (see in-state rates below). Documentation is required. K-12 employees who live out-of-state but work in Virginia schools qualify for some tuition reduction. Rates vary by state. Contact VTOnline for details.
