 Courses for Provisionally Licensed Teachers

In addition to the courses listed for the M.S. degree, Virginia Tech also offers a series of six, one-credit courses specifically designed to meet the curriculum and instruction licensure requirements for provisionally licensed career and technical education teachers in Virginia. These courses are designed for self-directed, self-paced instruction. Each course is managed through a web site and the instruction is provided either on a CD-ROM or through video streaming. For teachers who want to work toward both their licensure and a graduate degree, these courses could be applied toward the M.S. degree, with the permission of the graduate advisor. For more information about these courses, visit http://www.iddl.vt.edu/cte/lic/.
